This was a great workshop that I was invited to do by Donna of Sew La Tea Dough (STLD) on Saturday 5th March. I took my book and some samples with the idea that we would sew heart cards for Mothers Day (missing my dear old mum and with Kitty away too)!

It was relaxed and some of the ladies that came a said how much they enjoyed learning to sew in such an enjoyable atmosphere having been put off sewing I when they were young due to the strictness of the teacher. This was great to hear as when I first started thinking about 'doing' my first book I wanted it to be experimental and embracing of hand stitching in a very low tech way.
